Delete your data

You can permanently delete your Skeyne account and the data we hold on our server, and separately remove your encrypted backup from your own Google Drive. Both steps are below.

01 Request account deletion

Enter the Google account you used to sign in to Skeyne. We'll give you a 6-character code to confirm the request by email.

Important: the confirmation email must be sent from the same Google account you used to log in to the app. This is how we verify the request is really yours. A request sent from a different address cannot be processed.
Your confirmation code
------
To confirm deletion, send an email from your Google account (the account you used in the app) to CONTACT with this exact subject line: DELETE ------ Once we receive it and confirm it came from your account, we'll delete your data and reply to confirm. Codes remain valid for 30 days.

Sent from the wrong address? Start over.

02 Delete your Google Drive backup

If you ever backed up Skeyne, your messages and memories were saved as an encrypted file inside your own Google Drive, in a hidden app-data area. We cannot see, read, or delete this file — only you can, from your Google account. Here's how:

  1. On a computer, open drive.google.com and sign in with the same Google account.
  2. Click the gear icon (top right) → Settings.
  3. In the left menu, choose Manage apps.
  4. Find Skeyne in the list.
  5. Click OptionsDelete hidden app data.

On the Google Drive mobile app: tap your profile → this option may not appear — use a desktop browser for the steps above. Removing the hidden app data permanently deletes your encrypted Skeyne backup. This is separate from the account-deletion request in step 01.
